Lemon Peel Scrub Goat Milk Soap

This Lemon Peel Scrub Goat Milk Soap is an exfoliating gardener's soap that provides a gentle scrub with lightly refreshing citrus essential oil notes. Natural lemon peel creates an effective scrub that will leave skin feeling smooth and revitalized after cleansing.

All of our soaps are small-batch handcrafted in our dedicated Northeast Wisconsin soaping studio. Our signature soap base uses local Wisconsin goat milk that contains natural lipids, proteins, and vitamins leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated after washing. Each batch is uniquely created and cut by hand so colors, designs, and final weights may vary slightly from the photos and between batches.

SCENT: Light blend of Lemongrass, Pink Grapefruit, and Rosemary essential oils

USE: Wet your bar of soap. Lather as desired. Wash and scrub to your heart's content. Then rinse. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Safe for face and body; but be sure to avoid eyes and open skin. Discontinue using your soap if irritation occurs.
Extend the life of your handmade bar by lathering away from direct water and allowing the soap to air dry between use. Be sure to place it on a well-draining soap dish or in a soap saving bag to avoid mushy soap!

INGREDIENTS (NEW FORMULA): Palm oil*, coconut oil, olive oil, goat milk, sodium hydroxide**, water, castor oil, cocoa butter, cymbopogon schoenanthus (lemongrass) oil, citrus bergamia (grapefruit) oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, lemon peel, kaolin clay.

INGREDIENTS (OLD FORMULA): Palm oil*, coconut oil, olive oil, goat milk, sodium hydroxide**, water, castor oil, cocoa butter, cymbopogon schoenanthus (lemongrass) oil, citrus grandis (grapefruit) oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, lemon peel. Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, manganese violet, polyester 3, red 28, yellow 5. 

*We intentionally use only certified sustainably sourced palm oil. 
**Sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, is a necessary ingredient in true soapmaking.  Saponification occurs when the fats and oils in our recipe react with the sodium hydroxide to create a fatty acid salt, otherwise known as SOAP! The original form of sodium hydroxide is not present in your final bar of soap. (Chemistry is so much cooler now than it was in high school!)
